Mission Search a Rescue (MSAR) is built and run by the dedicated members of our community. As a registered non-profit organization in British Columbia, its primary function is to provide a variety of life-saving search and rescue related services to the people and visitors of Mission's backcountry, lakes, and rivers.
Mission Search and Rescue is made up of 25 active members; all of which are fully volunteer members. MSAR's members put in hundreds of hours every year to train, run events, and attend callouts. Fundraising is a key part to keep our team. Here are a few ways you can help support the lifesaving work of MSAR: 1. Follow us on social media to learn more about our events and fundraising initiatives. 2. Donate directly online at https://www.missionsar.com 3. Bring bottles and cans to a "Return It Depot" and print out the MSAR tags by using our phone number (604) 826- 9727.
