Punjabi Mutiyaaran: Empowering Women
About Us: The Punjabi Mutiyaaran Women Society was established by a group of seven 'Punjabi Mutiyaaran.' While the term can have multiple meanings in Punjabi, it generally refers to a group of youthful girls or women. Our organization is a non-profit society dedicated to supporting women, particularly the growing population of South Asian women. Our mission and passion stem from various personal experiences, including overcoming adversity in abusive relationships and single parenting, where community support made a crucial difference. Our Inspiration: The inspiration to empower women comes from a deep-rooted desire to see them shine in their potential and thrive in life. Many of us have experienced or witnessed the challenging times that some of our close loved ones have faced. Our Event: Mela Shoukeenena Da is more than just a gathering; it's a celebration of strength, resilience, and community. By supporting SARA for Women, we aim to provide resources and assistance to women in need, helping them overcome their challenges and empowering them to thrive. Join us on August 10, 2024, from 1pm to 6pm, at Fraser River Heritage Park in Mission to celebrate, support, and empower women! Your presence and support can make a real difference in the lives of many. ©2024 What's On! Mission. All Rights Reserved. What's On! Mission is published under license from Blueberry Publications.
