Clarke Theatre and Mission Folk Music Festival Present: The Marcus Mosely Ensemble in Concert

Celebrate the holiday season with the soul-stirring harmonies of the Marcus Mosely Ensemble, performing live on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024, at the Clarke Theatre in Mission, BC. This special concert, presented by Clarke Theatre in partnership with the Mission Folk Music Festival and the City of Mission, will feature the uplifting sounds of gospel music and more—perfect for kicking off the festive season with heart and soul.

The evening’s program will highlight Marcus Mosely’s exceptional talent and enduring love for gospel music, a tradition he was immersed in growing up in Ralls, Texas. A Vancouverite since 1985, Mosely is a beloved figure in Canadian music and performing arts, celebrated for his contributions to gospel music, theatre, and film and honored with an induction into the BC
Entertainment Hall of Fame. As a founding member of the award-winning gospel trio The Sojourners, he has shared his powerful voice and inspiring message with audiences nationwide.

Now leading the Marcus Mosely Ensemble, Mosely brings together a dynamic group of vocalists and musicians who channel the soul of gospel through a blend of blues, jazz, and roots influences. Known for their electrifying harmonies and infectious energy, the Marcus Mosely Ensemble will transport the audience with songs that celebrate love, unity, and hope.
