DUNSMUIR URBAN COMMUNITY GARDEN (DUC GARDEN)

An urban agricultural initiative launched by the Dunsmuir Neighbourhood Association, this lot on 9th Avenue will be transformed into a community garden and meeting place where residents can socialize, grow crops, and become more self-sufficient. It will be managed by a core team of experts and volunteers, with collaboration from residents and organizations across Mission, Hatzic, Durieu, Miracle Valley, Deroche, and Dewdney.

The Dunsmuir Neighbourhood Association, Mission BC is dedicated to following the Mission Health and Wellness Strategy, advocating for food security, hidden poverty, community building, and the preservation of local wetlands.
