Mission Folk Music Festival Society Presents Julian Taylor Live in Concert

The Mission Folk Music Festival Society is thrilled to announce an intimate evening of folk-roots music with acclaimed singer-songwriter Julian Taylor. The concert will take place on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 7:30 PM at the Clarke Theatre in Mission, BC.

Julian Taylor is a dynamic and multi-faceted artist known for his soulful blend of folk, rock, and roots music. His poignant songwriting and captivating performances have earned him numerous accolades, including recognition at the JUNO Awards and Canadian Folk Music Awards. 

With hits like "The Ridge" and "Ballad of a Young Troubadour," Taylor’s music resonates deeply with audiences, exploring themes of love, identity, and resilience.

“We’re thrilled to kick off the fall season with a special concert, featuring the extraordinary Julian Taylor!” said Michelle Demers Shaevitz, Artistic/Executive Director of the Mission Folk Music Festival Society.  “After having him on our radar for a while, we are excited to finally bring him to Mission for an intimate performance at the Clarke Theatre. This will be a night to remember, and we’re grateful to the City of Mission for partnering with us to make it happen.”
