After many years of hard work and fundraising, The Mission Horse Club has finally reopened their arena for the 2023 show season!
Through the tireless efforts of volunteers and the outpouring of support from local businesses and neighbours, they are the only free public riding facility in Mission for all equestrian uses. The club strives to foster a love of horses and promote and develop compassionate and committed relationships with those who share the same equine passion. They want Mission Horse Club to be a safe, inclusive space for adults and children alike to enjoy their sport. They have acknowledged the following contributors in bringing their vision to fruition: Sandy Tilbury & Nelson Tilbury, Tom Cassel of TW Excavating, Woodbrook Quarries, Fraser Valley Rona; Janet & Mick Schmidt, Ken Ginter, and the countless volunteers who came out to help with fence assembly. The Mission Horse Club was formed in the 1940s and is solely supported by their membership. To learn more about how to get involved, visit https://missionhorseclub.org/ ©2024 What's On! Mission.
