The Mission Regional Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the outstanding winners of the 38th Annual Mission Candlelight Parade. The event, held on Saturday, Dec. 2nd, showcased the incredible creativity and holiday spirit of our community, bringing joy and festive cheer to all who attended. This year’s event featured over 100 vehicles and community groups, including the return of many community favorites, as well as the addition of hundreds of glowing candles given out to children and the young at heart. “This has been the Candlelight Parade for decades. This year, we wanted to showcase that in sharing light, we celebrate the unique and warm spirit that makes our city special.” said Mission Chamber Executive Director, Miriam Bozman. “Seeing the kids’ faces in the glowing candlelight, watching their excitement and joy made the months of work and planning worthwhile, and that was the best part of the night for our team.”
Most Original Float: Dougness Holdings Ltd. stole the show with their creative display that captivated the audience with memories (but thankfully not the smells) of our favorite Christmas Vacation. This float truly stood out among the impressive lineup. Best Holiday Spirit: Archgard Fireplaces exemplified the true essence of the holiday season, spreading warmth, joy, and festive cheer with their cozy home scene. Their commitment to embodying the holiday spirit was evident in every detail. Best Non-Profit or Charity Float: Mission Sunrise Rotary brought us a beautifully decorated float with snowy white trees and bright, happy snowmen! Their dedication to making a positive impact in the community was reflected in the thoughtful design and execution of their float. Light Up the Night: AG Solutions illuminated the parade route with a dazzling display of lights that truly lit up the night with their trail of tractors. It was a visually stunning and captivating display that added an extra layer of magic to the Candlelight Parade. The Mission Chamber extends its heartfelt congratulations to all the winners and expresses gratitude to all participants, volunteers, and community partners for contributing to the success of this cherished annual event.
