FVHS is an independent non-profit charity that was founded by a team of veterinarians during the flood crises in 1999. With the team of volunteers, knowledgeable staff, Board of Directors and local Veterinary, they rehabilitate, house, feed, medicate and socialize all the cats in their care. FVHS relies on grants, donations, fundraisers and the supports of local businesses. All cats and kittens receive; veterinarian exams, series of deworming and flea treatments, spayed/neutered, permanent identification (microchip), Viral tested (FVCRP), vaccinated, fed a high quality specific diet to their individual needs, socialized and receive TLC prior to becoming available for adoption.
